Master of Fine Art

UCLan course page

Introduction

The MA Fine Art course is focused on re-defining the boundaries of contemporary art, interweaving practice with critical theory to produce creative thinkers and strategists, and to generate and develop debates around the ever-changing cultural landscape of the area.

The course is designed to facilitate creative researchers and makers, whilst encouraging the critical analysis of specialist areas of their individual research enquiry. Students are encouraged to extend and engage their professional network to include organisations, individuals, galleries, funders and companies that offer opportunities to support further development of their artistic research practice.
