Introduction

The Master of Architecture course is intended for graduates with a first degree in architecture who wish to progress towards professional qualification as an architect.

The course aspires to equip you with the knowledge and skills required to meet the varied and complex demands of architectural practice. This is pursued through the successful completion of a series of interrelated modules engaging design, technology, theory and professional practice.

The course follows the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and Architects Registration Board (ARB) Criteria for the Prescription of Qualifications, providing exemption from Part 2 of the Examination in Architecture of the ARB and the RIBA.
