About me

I’m a multidisciplinary artist focusing on sculpture for the most part of my undergraduate degree. I use plaster on most of my sculptures, and enjoy pushing the boundaries of this material. After graduation I am moving onto a PGCE teacher training course for secondary and college students.

This work represents instability surrounding and within relationships, relating to people in everyday life such as friends and partners. The series of work I have presented for the degree show could be thought to represent changes and challenges which may be faced in day to day life. I also consider the idea of pushing the boundaries of my materials which are wood and plaster.

Each layer of my work is non-descript which allows the audience to have their own experience within the artwork, rather than it being tied to one emotion or feeling.
