About me

My journey through Architecture started from observing my uncle draft up plans on his laptop and due to this I took a keen interest in the design process and began making sketch elevations and vowed to be an architect in the future.

I also had a keen interest in the betterment of slum dwellings back where I come from in Kenya and ensuring each individual had a comfortable place to stay. This led me to work with various groups visiting less fortunate foster homes and volunteering in cleaning them.

I took A-Levels Mathematics, Physics and Arts as a route to Architecture school, and while studying I gained software skills that have come in handy with my design work.

The software packages I learnt were; ArchiCAD, Sketch-Up, Lumion and Photoshop. My favourite media to date is the Drafting table as it helps me materialise my idea clearly.

The Temple of Antithesis project was an investigation of how social challenges may be solved through the gathering of the collective by manipulating various sensory experiences. My challenge of choice was the issue of mental health and it’s impact to the overall community and economy.

The Critical paths project was a community based project, educating the locals on ways they could control their developments and control the gentrification process for the community to grow with a collective vision of place and for the common good.
