About me
I’m Liv, 23. Prior to being on the Master’s Fashion Design course I completed three years at UCLan on the BA Fashion Design course as well as studying Fashion Design at Stafford college achieving an award for best fashion design student of the year of that college.
Within these years of studying Fashion Design, I was able to learn about what interests me the most and what I would want to continue working within, being men’s streetwear design. Being a part of the Master’s course at UCLan also led me to other opportunities within my area of interest.
I was able to be a part of a Creative Innovation Zone project for B Jeans, an Uzbekistan denim company where I was able to work within a team of both staff and other students to design and create jeans. From this I achieved an Endorsement Award and amazing industry experience.
My project is based on women’s safety within the UK. Focussing on the statistic of 97% of women ages 18-24 having been sexually harassed.
