About me

My passion is interiors, and my aspiration is to help shape this industry into being as sustainable as it can be. During my time at UCLan, I have learned how to work with 2D software. I am now starting to learn how to use 3D software and I am very excited to develop my knowledge in this. A skill I have progressed in is Learning how to research a brand, trends and behaviours and profiling customers.

Throughout the pandemic, there was an increase in fast homeware and furniture sales. As it is trend-led it is short term. However, “By the second fast homeware wave,
consumers had already started to care more about the sustainability aspect of things”- Allyson Rees WGSN. To fill this need for more conscious consumption, I designed the concept Vestiaire Collective Home, the resale of second-hand luxury and vintage furniture. Vestiaire Collective Home is a brand extension for Vestiaire Collective which sells second-hand designer clothes. This allows customers to shop for luxury and sustainable furniture at a more reachable price.
