About me

During my time at Uclan, I have worked alongside some amazing artists. Working with ‘Outside Stories’ on a Remembrance day project with children in and around Preston was amazing.
My experience with them has inspired me to want to work alongside more community projects whilst using the skills I have learnt during my time here.
I also plan to continue to use my needle punch and rug tufting skills to set up my own business and make the world a more tactile place.

This interiors range has been inspired by the childhood memories of my Nan’s house. Going to her house after school and sitting on the handmade latch hook rug watching tv or playing games by the fire.

Her house was filled with the patterns, colours and textures of the 70’s. I used these memories to create a tactile, interiors range that you can’t help but want to touch.

Using tufting and needle punch methods that I find to be a mindful and relaxing process; I have been able to lose myself in the therapeutic process whilst creating this final project.
