About me
I am a final year Master’s student studying architecture at the University of Central Lancashire. During my time at university, I have developed into a highly motivated perfectionist with a passion for architecture visualisations. Throughout my studies, I have acquired a wide range of skills that have rewarded me with a First-class Honours degree and an outstanding final year portfolio award. I hope to enter a challenging architectural environment to further refine and utilise my skills and gain a greater understanding of the profession.
This design thesis seeks to utilise an existing structure in conjunction with new materials and methods to create a singular piece of coherent architecture along the Northern edge of Katendrecht in Rotterdam.
This project manifests an exploration of thresholds into a visual ‘carnival’ of temporary performance spaces across the neighbourhood of Katendrecht. The ‘carnival’ moves out of the host building onto the surrounding streets to connect with various Walhalla theatre groups to transform spaces into new vibrant functions.
