About me

I am 23 years old, who is second oldest of 7 siblings. I want to create my art something better for world and making better place. I try to include my life experience into my work. By doing this in youth work or teaching which has been my goal since I was 13 as I fell in love with youth work as I volunteer at my local community center which I did until COVID and they pushed me to get my dreams.

The focus of my animation was to use bright colours, draw in a style that young children would relate to, and to use voices. The school is a place where the children feel safe and have contact with teachers who can help them. I really benefited from being in a school environment which encouraged me to talk about my problems when I couldn’t talk about them at home.

What is Mental Health? is an animation that is focused on how to explain mental health to young children from the ages of seven to eleven years old. This hand drawn animation has been created with children in mind, and so the drawings are childlike. I wanted to create an educational animation for young children such as my brother to experience, and to help them be aware of the importance of mental health. The focus of my animation was to use bright colours, draw in a style that young children would relate to, and to use voices and sounds.
